Food Frozen Film For Automatic Machine

DEAL-VE skin packaging films are made to fit food packaging film for meat, poultry, seafood and cheese with any shape or size.VE films can inhibit the proliferation of aerobic bacteria in low temperature environments and extend the shelf life of food.VE films are used for foods to store at freezing( -18C) after skin packaging.

Frozen Food Skin Packaging Film

IDEAL-VE frozen food skin packaging film is designed for vacuum skin packaging of meat, poultry, seafood, processed foods and ready meals that require storage at approximately -18°C after packaging.

The transparent top film forms closely around the product and seals to the compatible bottom tray or carrier, helping hold the food securely in position during freezing, cold-chain transportation and retail handling. Its stable forming performance and customizable roll width make it suitable for automatic vacuum skin packaging machines used in food processing plants.

Vacuum Skin Film for Frozen Meat and Poultry

Frozen meat packaging requires a film that can form closely around the product before entering frozen storage. IDEAL-VE frozen food skin packaging film is suitable for:

  • Beef steaks and portioned beef
  • Pork cuts and processed pork
  • Lamb and mutton products
  • Chicken, duck and turkey
  • Sausages and processed meat
  • Marinated meat products
  • Frozen meal ingredients

The vacuum skin format keeps the product fixed on the tray and improves package stability during handling and transportation. Food processors packaging chicken, duck and related products can also view our poultry skin packaging solutions.

Frozen Seafood Skin Packaging Film

IDEAL-VE can also be used as frozen seafood skin packaging film for fish fillets, shrimp, shellfish portions and prepared seafood products.

The clear film follows the product shape closely, helping control movement and improve visibility through the package. More application information is available on our seafood skin packaging page.

For seafood with sharp shells, fish bones or other puncture risks, standard frozen film may not provide sufficient mechanical protection. In these applications, consider our food anti-puncture film, which is developed for products with bones, shells and sharp edges.

Suitable for Automatic VSP Machines

IDEAL-VE frozen food skin packaging film is supplied in customized widths to match different automatic vacuum skin packaging systems.

Before production, the following information should be confirmed:

  • Machine model
  • Maximum applied film width
  • Tray dimensions
  • Product length, width and height
  • Required film thickness
  • Bottom tray or carrier material
  • Target production speed
  • Frozen storage conditions

For complete packaging-line selection, visit our vacuum skin packaging machine range. The film can also be matched with the IDEAL-410 automatic food skin packaging machine for bulk food packaging production.

We recommend testing the film with the actual machine, tray and food product before confirming a large-volume order.

How to Select the Correct Frozen Skin Film

Select According to Product Shape

Flat and smooth products normally require less film extension. Tall or irregular products require greater forming depth and should be tested to confirm that the film covers the product without excessive thinning.

Select According to Product Surface

Boneless meat, fish fillets and prepared foods can normally use standard frozen food skin film. Products with bones, shells or sharp edges may require a stronger anti-puncture structure.

Select According to Storage Requirements

IDEAL-VE is a Non-EVOH frozen film intended for products stored at approximately -18°C after packaging.

For chilled foods requiring stronger oxygen barrier performance, consider our EVOH high barrier film.

Select According to Machine Width

Film width should match the film-feeding system and effective working area of the packaging machine. Provide your machine model or required film width when requesting a quotation.

Frozen Film vs EVOH Film vs Anti-Puncture Film

Film Type Main Selection Requirement Typical Applications
IDEAL-VE Frozen Food Skin Packaging Film Frozen storage and automatic machine compatibility Frozen meat, poultry, seafood and ready meals
EVOH High Barrier Film Higher oxygen and aroma barrier requirements Chilled meat, seafood, cheese and premium foods
Food Anti-Puncture Film Resistance to bones, shells and sharp edges Bone-in meat, shrimp, shellfish and sharp food products

Selecting the correct film according to storage temperature, product shape and barrier requirement helps improve packaging stability and reduce unnecessary material cost.
